Just a short post to let you know there is an update for WidgetFactory that takes advantage of some of the new stuff in Captivate 7.
Here are the release notes:
- New Library features
- Added new function to Library object: browseForMultiple(). Calling this function will bring up a Library browser that allows the user to select multiple library objects. When the objects have been selected, browseForMultiple() will return an array of the selected library item’s ids.
- Added new function to Library object: browseForFolder(). This will open up a folder browser from which the user can select a folder. Once the folder is selected, browseForFolder() will return a library id which can be passed into getResourceFilePath() to retrieve the file path to the folder. This can be useful if the selected folder has a preformatted structure. For example, the root folder must have an index.htm and a subfolder for resources. You’ll need a bit of imagination to find a use for this one.
- Using slide labels with gotoSlide() works more consistently now. Providing you are using the widget in Captivate 7. If you’re using it in a lower version, you have to turn accessibility on.
