Infosemantics Drag and Drop Lite Question Widget
An AS3 question widget allowing Captivate authors to create true drag and drop quiz questions using ordinary screen objects such as captions, highlight boxes, animations, and even video. Click the heading link for more information.
Version 1.2.4 - Released 17/10/2011
- Fixed bug preventing AutoSubmit from working.
- Fixed bug affecting Hide Targets at Runtime under certain circumstances.
Version 1.2.3 - Released 23/9/2011
- Assorted bug fixes
- Added version tracking behaviour so that a coloured circle on the Widget Properties dialog indicates whether or not the widget is current. A green circle indicates current version. Orange indicates a non-critical update is available. A red circle indicates a critical update is available that fixes a major issue.
Version 1.2.2 - Released 18/6/2011
- Changed the behaviour when a drag object is dropped on a target where only one object per target is allowed in Preferences. Previously the drag object displace the current target occupant object, which would then snap back to it's own original starting position. The new behaviour with this version is to snap to the start drag position of the latest drag object. This has the effect of drag objects swapping positions at drop. This behaviour was suggested as preferred by some users.
Version 1.2.1 - Released 13/6/2011
- Added compatibility with Captivate 5.5.
- Added Review tab to provide an interface for widget users to configure the text that appears in the Review Area during Quiz Review mode at runtime. Previously it was not possible to change the default text. This version provided a field to show text in the Chosen Answer upper section of the Review Area (this field is not applicable in Cp 5.5) and another field to write text for the lower Correct Answer section.
Version 1.1.2 - Released 15/3/2011
- Added new preference to Snap Back to Start Position if Dropped on Incorrect Target. This was in response to a request from a user that wanted to create survey questions where there was no wrong answer.
- Added Initial Hit Testing to enable correct scoring functionality for drag interactions where all drag objects are initially placed on top of target objects but with randomised placement. Previously these questions would score as incorrect unless all drag objects were moved by the user. But since some drag objects might be initially placed on the correct targets, users did not see a need to move them, resulting in an incorrect score even though all objects were placed correctly. Initial Hit Testing allows a hit test to be performed at runtime even before the user drags any items.
