Course Progress

This topic explains how to use CpExtra information variables to read how many seconds, minutes, and hours are in the course, and how many minutes seconds and hours the learner has currently viewed of the course.

This is useful for creating a playbar element which shows the learner's progress through the course. As seen below.

It is expected that these variables will be displayed inside of a caption, where the designer will change the font style, size, and color to fit with the theme of their course.

These variables also have a close relationship with the xprefUseDoubleDigitTotalTimeValues and xprefUseDoubleDigitElapsedTimeValues preference variables.
